The Shuswap Centre will be a facility that will lease space to independent ventures which will include, but not be limited to, the following activities: the Mary Thomas Learning Centre, the Kekuli Restaurant, the Trading PLace, the Salmon River Watershed Project and the Neskonlith Band office.

The Mary Thomas Learning Centre

Offering experiential teaching that emphasizes native culture, healing, environment, community watershed stewardship programs (offered in partnership with the Salmon River Watershed Roundtable), lake and foreshore stewardship (offered in partnership with the Salmon Arm Bay Nature Enhancement Society) and the 1998 Forest Fire (offered in partnership with the BC Ministry of Forests).

The Kekuli Restaurant

Traditional Native food prepared to suit contemporary tatses in a pleasing, bright First Nations setting.

The Trading Place

Retail store will sell local and other healing herbs and spices as well as Native arts and crafts. Artists and artisans will produce much of their work in the "common area" set aside for this purpose and visible to all visitors to the Shuswap Centre.

Business Offices

The Salmon River Watershed Project and the Neskonlith Band Office will also be tenants, attracting traffic and visitors to the centre.
